AppCoins (APPC) is an open & distributed protocol for App Stores using blockchain technology and smart contracts.

The economy is growing more and more everyday but the app economy is currently facing a lot of problems which is hurting it's growth progress scale. Google Play Store and Apple Store have created a monopoy over the app economy but they haven't solved any of the problems faced by the app users and developers.
Some of the the serious problems stifling the app economy are:
Difficulty for In-App Purchases: The third party payment gateways take a lot of time to process and they also charge a lot for the app purchases made by the users. It discourages the users to make app purchases and decreases the app revenue.
Inefficiency of mobile advertising: There are too many third parties between the
users and app developers which reduces the transparency and profitable returns for the developers to pay off for their hard work.The App Approval process is outdated:Fake clone apps somehow manages to get into the App Stores and scammy, fake clone apps somehow makes their way into the App Stores. It is also difficult to verify the identity of the
developers.
AppCoins aims to solve all of it.
It removes all the intermediaries and provides a decentralized platform for in-app purchases, introduces transparent app approval system based on public blockchain and it also provides a platform integrated easy payment solution for developers.
Also, Appcoins will be used in Aptoide platform which is one of the largest Android App Stores.
