Quoted from Reuters, the US Geological Agency USGS such an earthquake shook the region about 256 km southeast of Chiniak, Alaska.

The depth of the earthquake is at 10 km below the earth's surface. Earthquake Happened at 09.31 GMT.

This earthquake is a tsunami alarm for parts of Alaska and Canada.

The tsunami alert is also applied to the entire west coast of the United States.
