Did We Really Just Discover "Aliens" ?

I feel like I hear about a new discovery of "aliens" every few weeks. Usually it's something not believable or remarkable, but this actually got my attention. In Nazca, Peru, it has been reported that a 3 fingered, mummified, humanoid specie was discovered. Here's a photo of what all the hype is about.

My first thought is that something like this might be fake. I mean, it is the internet after all. But then I remembered a few months back hearing that they found an ancient 3-fingered hand in the same region. When I first saw that hand I didn't think anything of it, but if you look at the two samples, without a doubt they're from the same specie.

The other reason that this caught my attention is, after doing a little research, I found that a lot of ancient deities in ancient South America were depicted with three fingers.

So one thought people might have is "hey, it might just be some ancient human, another member of the homo genus, it's not an alien!" But, with this creature's specific bone structure (3 fingers), there's no way its an early human. If it is real, it's something totally different.

Were the gods of ancient south america actually aliens? If so, the movie "Stargate" is basically historical fiction. (If you haven't seen Stargate, watch it, it's awesome). Now I'm still not 100% convinced this is alien, or even real (it's still the internet!), but hey, maybe it could be something amazing. As always, live long and prosper (and Steem on!)
