This is a broad topic that I don't want to argue about. The basis of my statement is from the bible written many years ago. If you are not a believer of the Christian bible, well, I can say we are not in the same ring so we cannot box.
I do not believe in anything that allows the killing of species that show emotions. And im a believer of commonsense, peace, co-existance and non-violence. Jainism is the only religion which is based on science, commonsense, co-existance and non-violence, keeping all the beings in consideration, including plants.
