Mother's Blessing

A couple of months ago, I've had a truly beautiful experience, participating at my beautiful soul sister's Mother's Blessing.

A Mother's Blessing is a ceremony, for the expectant mother, where her (only female) family members and friends gather in a circle, and create a sacred space for her.
We sang, we chant, we shared and blessed her into motherhood.

The ground altar, was created by us all, using flowers, petals, feathers, and while we were placing these objects, in complete silence, we had to think of all the blessings, we wished for the mother to be and the baby.

Baby was born a few weeks later, at home, completely unassisted, just by the help of the divine.
