Spouses and investing in alternative wealth

Most people are so unaware of the economic and geopolitical surroundings that they do not want to have their everyday normals questioned by reality. I write this post as a father and husband of a wife that does not want to believe that our future can be far different than our past. In reality, we must prepare for economic hard times and the largest wealth shift that may occur in our lifetimes.

People, fathers or mothers must take hold of our economic individual futures that may be in peril. How do we best position ourselves to be best secured for the future that may be in close proximity while still having support of our spouses? I have found it best to be diversified, rather than to be overwhelmingly supportive of one specific solution. I personally am investing in multiple forms of storage of wealth, rather than one hardlined investment. Whether it be Mining stocks, cryptocurrencies, or precious metals. I have found that diversifying your alternative investments is more acceptable than one specific type.
Please share what you have found what works for your situation if you have faced the same situation. I am sure that it must be the elephant in the house for many others besides myself.
