Hey guys, it is time for a vacation!
It is time for a new experience, new country, new city.
New everything. If you are wondering what is this new place you are going to… don’t worry about it, it is an amazing city that you will fall in love it.
If you love the warm weather, then you will not make a mistake, this city has an interesting nickname, “Horno City” which means “Oven City”, because of its warm weather.
“Horno City” is actually Maracaibo, and it is located in Venezuela. The northwestern part of Venezuela.

While you are there, you will get a chance to see an amazing attraction, one of these amazing attractions is Basilica Nuestra Senora de Chiquinquira,
which means Basilica of Our Lady of Chiquinquira. It is the most popular Catholic temple in Venezuela and in the state of Zulia. You can’t miss these amazing architectural building,
it is just in the center of Maracaibo. The construction of the Basilica is dedicated to the Viring of Chiquinquira, patroness of the Zulia state. Basilica is huge,
it has 3 naves and 2 towers, it has a very high altar, a presbytery and numerous niches dedicated to various saints.
It has a very special cultural story. Its architectural work is representative of this city and the Zulia state.
Basilica is mentioned in songs by Gaita Zuliana, and also you can “find” this Basilica in postcards, paintings, and other manifestations.
If you plan your visit in November, around November 18, you will get the chance to see an important socio-cultural even of this region,
the Fair of the Chinita, it is all about religious activities such as the procession ad the descent of the virgin,
also, they celebrate events such as gaiter dawn just in front of the Basilica, the bullfights in the bullring, the monumental Maracaibo,
the lighting of the Christmas lights of the avenues Bella Vista and La Lampia, the game of the Aquilas del Zulia in the Luis Stadium Aparicio,
the Orchid Festival for Super Sabado Sensacional.
