A Patriots Cry for Freedom

A shot heard first,
Around the world.
A new revolutionary,
Was now unfurled.

The British came,
Upon our soil.
They brought an army,
With rifles coiled.

They were ready,
To take freedom away.
And heavy taxes,
We would pay.

Give me liberty,
Or give me death.
These words rang,
From Patrick Henry’s breathe.

But now the time,
Has come today.
They again want,
To take our freedom away.
