How can we expect change?
How can we expect the world to change in the right direction when we cannot change our own ways in the right direction? How can we expect society to grow and move towards progression when we stay complacent and stuck on our own progression? How can we expect to subdue this global repression when we subdue those closest to us into forms of repression?

Right on! We need to stop wussing out, jump off the cliff of the known and into the unknown, and do our best to keep our head above water. The world is most certainly on a path to oblivion, but that does not mean that we have to be caught in any more of it than we can avoid.
I'd rather ditch plan B, that I was holding onto conservatively, and go full out towards what I really want to do, even if my situation could get very dicy in the process. Nothing worth achieving is not worth sacrificing your very life towards it.
