Would an Anarcho-Capitalist Society Devolve into Slavery? Noam Chomsky Gives his Theory on Human Nature.

Sometimes called the father of modern linguistics, Noam Chomsky has spoken frequently on topics regarding war and politics and opposes much of the U.S. government's actions and neoliberalism tendencies. When asked a question about his thoughts on anarcho-capitalism, here is how he responded:

"It is the most extreme form of autocracy and oppression that has ever existed."

His argument follows such that if a corporation were to have no restraints and no checks, it would be too easy for them to get out of control with slavery and other nefarious activities. If human nature was always kind and everyone only had the best of intentions for each other, perhaps this could work. But since we live in a world where much of humankind has a tendency towards hate and trying to get the upper hand on others by any means necessary, what would prevent us from collapsing into a horribly oppressive society?
