DiggnDeeper is now a Steem Community!

in #anarchy4 years ago (edited)

Please come subscribe to the DiggnDeeper community on Steem and share your work or any relevant work you think we would like to promote and discuss. We will be looking for all the open, decentralized and picking on prohibition content we can find. Oh, and Steem promotion... Ah, and other stuff too...

We have a Discord channel to discuss things: https://discord.gg/5fPatJx

Committed and trusted members also have access to our NextCloud server used for projects.

Everyone is doing it. Now, so have I.

I've been waiting for this since I started with Steem.

Honestly, I have wanted a platform to try to grow a community around the open source, decentralized concepts and anti-prohibition that I'm so interested in since way before Steem existed, but I always hesitated to try on the platforms that existed back then.

Here we go!

What is DiggnDeeper?

This is an ongoing effort to provide a full curated index showcasing open source projects, their tools and the concepts that can be used to “roll your own” platform. This site also focuses on highlighting the errors of prohibition and how a voluntary society can overcome the violence and corruption that stifles our civilization today.

These are key elements for a far more peaceful and robust society. We are living in possibly the most transformative time in human history. We have the tools to explore this new frontier and explore we shall.

Open source may have started with software, but it turns out, these tools and concepts can be applied to help you take control of anything you want. It may have started with software, but voluntary choice and peer-to-peer collaboration is now enabled and gaining momentum in just about every aspect of life: education, food, healthcare, tools & hardware, communications, finance and trade, transportation, as well as security and governance.

We are starting to see a proliferation of maker spaces and markets operated organically and sustainably by community activists using these tools and technologies. Maybe these maker spaces can displace the current mainstream ways and means by showing us a better way to get things done.

Unfortunately, I did the ultimate dip-shit move and saved the wrong keys, so I may have to do a do over. Account recovery wants my old keys - so I don't know how useful that tool is. Argh.

Anyway, I hope to encourage a lot of discovery and discussion of content there, if I can get my act together.

i like the idea! let me know when you have it up and running
