How to End Politics.

Giving people the ability to collaborate effectively and create the tools and communities that produce and trade instead of consume and combat, we can begin the transformation of our society from one that fears to one that fulfills.

Without fear, we won't be ruled.

Politics is just a bunch of people trying to figure out who gets to rule them.

It's hard for me to imagine what has allowed this terrible paradigm to remain so entrenched in our culture so long and so consistently. Our entire history is scarred with the misfortunes of wars and conflicts that are often nothing more than the whims of rulers. The results of this strange behavior has been arguably the most deadly of all the major killers.

The amount of death, economic, and innovative destruction caused by the State is so vast and encompassing that it is difficult to grasp as we go about our busy lives.

Somehow it is easy for us to be lulled into a sense of legitimacy as the same old tactics of fear funnel us down the chute like sheep. Maybe it is our nature. It sure seems an easy and reliable tactic for rulers to use fear to keep us under them and to convince us to do all sorts of terrible things. Historically, we have not had the tools to overcome this.

Fussing over who the greatest ruler is, or what flag is worth the lives of its captors encourages all sorts of poor behavior, specifically in the sense of doing things for other or one's self. Fundamentally, politics is the ceding of ones responsibility to a perceived authority.

Wars and conflicts over rulers and flags have destroyed so much in our history, and there is a way out. The answer certainly isn't armed rebellion or anything violent. That is the tool of the State.

The Answer is Open, Decentralized Technology

Creating these open, decentralized cooperative communities essentially turns the paradigm upside down. People step up to solve and create solutions instead of look for someone else to do it for them. Doing so severs the chord and starves the beast that has ruled us for so long.

It is already happening.

The systems of old are crumbling everywhere and completely new solutions are popping up.

This is likely the most transformative time in all of history. We have the tools and the desire for change; and change we will.
