When people say they've been fighting for my "freedom" all of these years, I immediately counter with a question:
What happened to my freedoms if you were defending them?
If that's what they were doing, they have failed miserably.

Don't question what your freedoms are doing in Asia or Africa or wherever else the government needs to send troops to fight for them. Just accept it, pay whatever taxes are demanded, and VOTE! #murka!
