RE: Want Gun Rights? Shoot The Constitution.
That's a very good read. All the high tech killing from a distance machines are all still run by humans, and humans are not bullet proof.
They want to get rid of magazine fed rifles because those would be and have been the primary means of defense against tyrannical governments or outside invaders.
I too tell people not to depend on a document to maintain their rights. Hell, the US Constitution always was a contract none of us signed, and the government hasn't followed it anyway. It has been a miserable failure.
Get back to the constitution as some suggest? Give me a break. It failed once and would fail again. Documents do not protect people's rights. The willingness and means to resist do.
"Drive a rifle or ride a railcar" is very appropriate. We've already had political prisoners, executions, and other direct attacks by the government on US soil. Time really is running out, and sealing up our borders is part of the "solution."
This place is quickly becoming the largest open air prison in the world. If New Zealand can disarm its people so easily of their military style magazine fed rifles, why couldn't the same be tried here? Are people here really going to disarm as other places on the planet have?
If they do, they are dead to me. I will not disarm and would rather die than have my children grow up in a world where they have to throw rocks at government and military agents with rifles. Fuck that in particular.
