This is even more relevant and needed to be explained in Norway where if you add up all hte taxes and fees on products it amounts to likely 60% of all the money we earn. some 60% of hte price of a new car is fees going to the gouvernment, every product except food have a 25% tax called (directly translated) "moreValueTax" (mva - meir verdi avgift). Norway is of the most expensive Countrys to live in mostly as a result of taxes.

But lets not forget that we do ahve alot easyer living conditions today then hve been for along time in known history, but yes at a huge cost to our true freedom.
