A serious loophole threatens the Android system !
A few days after the security experts discovered a serious flaw in the Android system called "Stagefright" and threatening hundreds of millions of phones with this system, which prompted Samsung and Google to announce their intention to carry out monthly security updates for their devices, once again surfaced a new loophole and may be More dangerous.
In the past few days, the Stagefright loophole that threatens 950 million Android devices has been announced, but it seems that it will not stop there. The security company Check Point revealed a new loophole in the Android system during its participation in the security conference, Hat 2015, where the company pointed out that the new loophole targeted a number of phones of major manufacturers in this area.
The new vulnerability is called "Certifi-gate" and is exploited by some malicious applications to access the user's privileged powers. Hackers use it to access user data as well as access to the device's resources by running the microphone, recording user conversations and other methods.
Check Point has confirmed that it has informed the companies concerned about this loophole in particular: LG, Samsung, HTC and ZTE are waiting for their rapid move in order to launch security updates for handset models concerned with the Certifi-gate.
