Friend adopted a kitten the other day! :>

This is her on the way home, she did very well in the car. That may have been because of the medication she was given after being spayed 🤔. She took a power nap and then was meowing the rest of the way home.

This is her when we got home. We were setting up her room, kitty proofing it and setting up her litter box, bed, food and water. We were told to keep her in a small room, so she doesn't move around too much and mess up her stitches.

We got her fed and hydrated. The box is set up and we are bringing in her bed :>

Now she's all set up. Resting up and recovering from her surgery.

She doesn't have a name yet, but she's very affectionate and talkative. When we were allowed to hold her, she climbed up our arms to our shoulders. She's definitely a gem.
