What is beauty without bunnies!
Many people believe that animal testing in cosmetics is a thing of the past, but the sad truth is that thousands of animals world wide still suffer in the name of beauty.
As a consumer you have the power to encourage these companies to change their ways. Its time to take a stand.
Europe, the worlds largest cosmetic market, Israel and India have already banned animal testing for cosmetics and the sale or import of newly animal tested beauty products.
Why is this so hard for the rest of the world to accomplish?
Labs that use mice, rats, birds,, reptiles and amphibians are exempted from the minimal protections under the AWA act..
Animal testing is required by law in China for all foreign cosmetics companies. This means that all the big America and European cosmetics brands that are currently sold in China, must undergo animal testing. Some of theses big brands included MAC, Clinique and even Benefit
There are many non animal test methods can be used in place of tests on animal. Not only are these tests more humane, they also have the potential to be cheaper, faster, and more relevant to humans.
Only buy products from companies that don't test on animals.
Let companies currently testing cosmetics on animal know you will not be supporting them until they change their way. Most products have a tool free number you can phone.
