Caterpillar on onions can attack the plant from the initial growth phase until the tuber maturation phase. This caterpillar can pierce the leaf and can enter into the leek. This caterpillar consumes the surface of the inner leaves of the onion.
The leaves of onion look translucent or visible white patches finally leaves drooping.
