Marine Iguanas in Gardner Bay, La Española Island, Galápagos, Ecuador

Our cruise ship could be seen in the horizon, behind this pair of Marine Iguanas.

This is Gardner bay a really nice white sand beach, taken with a Cubot Magic Android Phone Camera.

Nuestro Barco puede verse en el horizonte tras las rocas y las iguanas marinas, sólo me arrepiento de no haber bajado la cámara buena en esta excursión, la del teléfono no está mal pero desmerece la fotografía.

    Beautiful photo. :) I Resteemed your post. The Marine Iguana is one of my favourite animals. Have you seen the 2006 documentary 'Galapagos'? I saw that the Iguanas sneezed salt out of their nose after a dive. Did you see this?

    Thank you for the restiming, yes I saw them throwing salty water through the nostrils, but I could take no picture of it. They even made us wet once.

    Yes the sand was nice and we even went snorkling with the Sea Lions (well only near them).
