When we lived at Eisenhower State Park, because the former park hosts had feed them, there were deer everywhere and not afraid of people. It was rather sad because they now trusted people. I am so torn by being thrilled that they didn't run away so I could see and enjoy their presence and wanting them to run for fear that I will hurt them.

We have a ton of deer in our area. When we lived in town there was an empty treed lot across the street, and the deer would come through there often because one of our neighbors would feed them.
Usually, though, most are very timid and if i even look at them through the window of the house they will leave. These three didnt seem to mind at all that the dog was on the porch, or that i was in the driveway. One of my neighbors probably feeds them!
