German shepherds are awesome dogs. The fact that she's a mix should really help reduce the chances of health problems they usually get, and being mixed with a Rottweiler she must be the ultimate guard dog :).
I can relate! My human takes me down to the river on hot days and throws sticks for me. Sometimes I leave them out in the deep water and he makes me go get them!
A German Shepherd that wants to be a "Chessie." This shot reminds me of my Duke, a Chesapeake Retriever that you could NOT get out of the water. I miss that dog terribly sometimes. Nice photo!
Thanks, she's a mix (mostly German Shepherd and Rottweiler), and she loves water until it gets in her ears. We've taken her to the beach before and she finds swimming among waves quite problematic.

Initially I thought she was pure German Shepherd but now that you mention it I can see the Rottweilers her coloring and a hint in the features.
Yeah, she got the coloring and the short coat, as well as a bit of a heavier and more muscular build. She's a beast. She weighs about 90 pounds lean.
