The spider is named Bagheera kiplingi from the name of a panther beetle in a forest story, Bagheera and the author's name, Rudyard Kipling.
The name is given because the spider's intelligence is similar to the panther's beast's intelligence in terms of jumping. Generally, jumping spiders are predators, but these one jumping spiders are vegetarian, They like to eat acacia buds and nectar.
They use skill jumping for cabcuss alias escaped from aggressive ants that are trying to protect acacia trees from other animals
