A little about the Turtles
Hi, it's me again, Pedro. I love all animals so I want to share some curiosities with you.
There are some things you should know about turtles:
Turtles are recognized for their large shell, which is a unique evolutionary piece, as it is an extension of their vertebrae and ribs so if you suffer some damage obviously hurts, your shell is very good to protect.
Sometimes in their mating can be turned over or when fighting with another turtle, some if they manage to stand alone, in addition to their turtle shell is well known because it looks like an old animal. But not only do they have the appearance of old animals, some turtles have a property called insignificant Senescence, which is when an animal's organism does not age, rather it does not have aging properties, so it may look like a teenager turtle, It is true that they are immortal, since they can die from diseases, or that some animal will eat them.
The turtles that have lived the most has been 189 years some say that in India there was a turtle that lived 255 years but there are no records that can guarantee that that is true. And not only do they live long, the fossil of the oldest turtle found so far is about 150 million years old, making it one of the oldest creatures on earth, dinosaurs became extinct about 65 million years ago, 60 Millions of years ago there was a turtle the size of a car.
Another type of turtle is the marinas, when it is time to lay the eggs the female returns to the same place where she was born, when the eggs are ready they will leave small turtles, which do not live much because only one of a thousand turtles survive until adult in the sea. Some can withstand very low temperatures, some species are in danger of disappearing.
