Tip From The Mailman: Keeping ๐ ๐ ๐ out of your mailbox
Some genius in our local post office(not me of course๐) figured out that bees don't like the scent of a certain product.
Somehow, some way, bees and wasps find a way inside your mailbox.
This inexpensive fix prevents them from nesting inside your mailbox, and keeps you and your mailman happy throughout the summer months.
Take a dryer sheet, (i.e. Bounce)and tape it to the back inside wall of your mailbox(leaves room for mail and keeps the sheet from tearing). Change every 2 to 3 weeks. I know it looks tacky, but if it works for the mailman, it will work for you too.
We use them for outgoing mail slots to CBUs(cluster box units). I trust this information was useful to you. You can never ๐ too safe.๐
