First Time Hand Feeding Squirrel (Scooby)

After feeding the Cardinals for several weeks, the other local neighborhood animals want in on the buffet. This squirrel (named Scooby) has been coming by for leftover nuts uneaten by the Cardinals. Today I finally got him to take the walnut directly out of my hand. (Check out my other videos of the Cardinal birds I've been feeding.) Make friends with your animal neighbors.

    Squirrels are my favorite animals (it is a known and laughed at thing among my friends) lol so I found this very cool!

    Thanks breshepard! I called all my friends in NYC today to tell them I hand fed a squirrel and everyone thought I was crazy. LOL! So very glad someone else thought this was cool. :)

      Love it following! I do the same with the birds. We just got a squirrel in our yard too I am hoping to befriend him. My bird is a peanut freak just like squirrels!
