A Walkthrough Of My Life. Meet Skype The Belgian Malinois!

Because i'm new here at Steemit, i thought it would be great to introduce a little bit more about myself, my life and of course Skype, my dog. Skype is a 1 year old Belgian Malinois. 

These dogs where originally bred to be "herding dogs" but nowadays they are used as K9's (police dogs, protection dogs) but they do a good job as family dog also. Some people have a little bit freight if you speak of a Belgian Malinois, and i can tell you that were my thoughts also in the beginning about this fantastic breed.

I want to tell you about how things get started with Skype, and how i decided to buy a puppy of this breeding. You must know, all my life i had Golden Retrievers as dogs. They are loyal, friendly and real family members. When the last one went to heaven, i cried my eyes out of my head.. 

But, after a few years i noticed that it was really quiet in the house without a dog. I missed something so i decided to bought a puppy again. 

At first i was searching for a Golden Retriever, but that changed when i saw a demonstration of K9's in our city. I fell totally in love with this breeding. What a power and a passion! A few days later i visited the first breeders of Belgian Malinois nearby, and so Skype came into my life.

Okay, enough said let me introduce you to my biggest friend, Skype!

At this picture he was about 12 weeks old. He was such a smart boy! Here we where at a little beach in the neighbourhood and we played his first apport game with a little red ball. From that moment on i knew he enjoyed working so much.

Here you can see how much he loves to apport things, and to bring it back to me. Also the water is one of his favorite things, except rain.. he hates rain! After a few months i started to introduce him to a bite sleeve. I started with baby sleeve (soft) and o my God he loved it so much! He was so dedicated to his "work" that it was a pleasure to train with him.

In this video below he was only 5 months old. You can see how much pleasure he has in his "work" and how good he is listening to his orders. In the second part of this video you can hear and see that he really is focused on his commands.

And yes he is a great model. He knows that he's handsome :).
