Ali's Chicken Coop Photo Series
Ali's Chicken Coop is a wonderful little space for raising beautiful chickens. Here is a glimpse at their life from April 2018.
Penelope says hello
Penelope joins Peep as they have an afternoon snack
Although my presence made the chickens quite curious, they continued to enjoy their meal
The coop is a warm, cozy, and spacious home for the chickens
Climate controls allow for proper coop heating even in the middle of a frosty April winter in New York where temperatures averaged around 40 degrees Fahrenheit for the whole month, unseasonably cold for April.
The xylophone is available for playing in the chance one of the chickens turns out to be a genius - it's possible
A peep at Peep
Extra outside space for safe chicken roaming - but when the chickens are out of the coop, Ali must remain on guard or an opportunistic hawk could swoop down, talon itself right into Penelope, and snatch up some instant KFC! Perhaps a scarecrow could help! Oh dear!!
Inside the house is a super special mini-coop for a few adorable little baby chicks. You can see them here slowly waking up from their temperature-controlled nap chamber to say hello
Hello little munchkins. The baby chicks are Olivia, Portia, Willow, Beatrice, Nugget, Omelette (some are still hiding or off-camera)
Hi friend
Striking eyes on this baby!
Hello there Portia!
It's always snack time, except when it's nap time
Portia prefers to eat on her own
Ali's Chicken Coop is based in New York and it continues to be a lovely home for all chickens and her vigilant guard ensures that it is a safe haven from hawks. As of July, a netted enclosure is being constructed so the chickens have a much larger and hawk-proof roaming space.
