I Thought This Had To Be A Photo-Shopped Image But It's Not.
I didn't think it was real, just another photo-shopped image.. until I looked it up. Look at the size of his head compared to a human!
The photo I first saw mentioned a Liger and I'm like.."What in the world is THAT?" I learned that a Liger is a cross between a male lion and a female tiger.
This hybrid creates the biggest cat in the world. Take Hercules here for instance. He stands 4 ft tall at the shoulders, weighs 920 lbs and is 11 feet long!
Here's the first Liger photo I saw and didn't believe it could be real:
You can see why I didn't believe it. That man isn't a short guy either.
The Liger is pretty rare because they aren't the easiest to breed. They don't breed in the wild like this and it's difficult to accomplish because they often die in the womb or in a premature birth.
So even though I enjoy seeing these magnificent animals...it's not natural and they are sterile and can't produce offspring. They're bred just to be an attraction at animal sanctuaries and zoos.
They're awesome but I have mixed feelings about breeding them just for entertainment purposes.
Although, they DO have a wonderful life and are treated like royalty and everyone loves them! Look at the big baby. lol.
By the way, they eat about 7kg or 15 lbs of raw meat each day to stay strong and healthy.
They say you don't want to hand feed them but more like throw them the meat from a good distance because they can pounce and jump something like 25 feet!
Oh and one more thing. When they DO have a successful birth...they're impossibly cute!
Here's one more shot of Hercules. I guess he's pretty gentle as long as he's not hungry!
I'm drawn to these massive cats and even though it would be a full time job to raise one I think I'd volunteer for that challenge, would you guys?

Sir Nickyhavey! Howdy! Yes sir, I haven't posted much on steemit since coming to the Hive but I think I will do more of that. The violent hatred of Mr. Sun to most people going to the Hive is amazing.
I'm sure you know that most would never post on steemit again even if it makes good business sense to. What is your opinion?

I've been posting on both and seeing which one is going to be better for me after everyone's powerdowns have finished. Will give a better idea and the > dust should settle by then but who knows!
We went in to total lockdown on 23rd March - we're allowed to leave the house to buy food, medical things, help vulnerable people (care) and to exercise once per day.
How's it looking where you are? My friends in Texas said that lockdown is kinda happening?
Sir nickyhavey! Are you able to keep working from home or are you laying around on the couch eating ice cream and watching Netflix movies? I'm guessing the latter would fit your personality better right? Growing bigger every day like a beached whale. lol.
Well, over here it is supposed to be under the same orders that you guys have but when I went to town last week and again this week the traffic is just as jammed up, the highways are crazy busy, out local truck stop was more crowded and jammed than I've ever seen it! It makes no sense to me because people are supposed to be staying inside.
It think they are taking the time off from work to run around town and go places. I'm in the country anyway so my life style hasn't changed but Mrs. J. works at the county jail so she has to go to work.

Oh you would? lol..might have to wait awhile on that one! I agree. Unless the cat was raised by me I'm not sure I could trust it 100%.
Just kidding janton. I agree I would not trust such a big wild animal. Isn't it amazing that these animals are created for show. I feel a little sad given that they cannot reproduce.
