Help! my cats are taking over

in #animals8 years ago

I still don't know what made me cats, and two at that. I think my house was too quiet, or i thought i could care for something else apart from me. Or get something that would make me stock my fridge or even make foot. You see, when you are living alone, there are things you can actually ignore or stop doing completely.

So here i was, adopting a kitten. i was advised to get two, so they can play with each other. Two little kittens, all so shy. I brought them home and i had a home ready for them. Cat food, their litter, a place to sleep. What could possibly go wrong, right?

Both are females. Jojo and Lulu.

What they did not tell me is that cats are fed maybe once at most twice a day. Well, i fed the cats all the damn time. The minute their plate was almost clean, i would top up every chance i had.

Lulu became obese in like 4 months. it never stops eating and i worry. I even thought it was pregnant. See the way they are sleeping? like they own this house of mine. They have even refused to sleep on their mat and they sleep in the extra room.

Jojo is adventurous. it sneaks out to go play on the roof and it comes back with cuts, fighting with other cats is its favourite past time. one time its paw was hanging out and it was in so much pain.

Gosh, i feel like giving them away, but i love them so much and they have become a part of my life. I have stopped gong for sleepovers, because i have to go home and feed them. aaaaargh. Little monsters. C-GOn1IWAAA4Ig-.jpg

OK. So Lulu is female... because you said you thought she was pregnant. Are they both female? They look alike too, are they twins (since you adopted them you probably don't know)

i got them from the same cat. so they are sisters. and of late i see them go outside to play house with other cats. i always give them the 'do not bring me children' he he
