It's raining cats and dogs

It's raining cats and dogs over here. What a weird saying. Cats and dogs falling out of the sky. Hmm sounds biblical. I think it's weird though that cats are also included. They don't even like this weather. Dogs do. They love it.

Ever seen a cat in the rain? They don't know how fast to get out of it. Nutty little animals. Cute though but not suited for this saying.
