Review
Though this may just be another fan service anime, it certainly is a good watch. The amount of anime and otaku references is so relatable that you just want to finish it til the last episode.
The first half of the anime was pretty generic but still good enough. With additional otaku related insights it proves to provide a good sense of what an otaku really is and how they differ from the normal people.
But as the story progresses things get weird just like in an anime, additional characters, plot twists and over the top circumstances that make you rethink why it got there or why you're still watching.
The fact that there's an anime that talks about anime is interesting enough as it is. How they incorporate the real life events of typical otakus and hardcore ones is just tempting enough for you to get interested. It's like breaking the fourth wall which is a good theme for an anime at this day and age. The comical twists may be lacking but it's still good for those otakus who'd like to see themselves or relate to anime.
