Godzilla's Face Revealed in The New Anime Movie

The waiting is over for fans desperate to see what the “king of monsters” looks like in an animated movie.

A trailer for "Godzilla: Planet of the Monsters," the first animated "Godzilla" motion picture slated to hit silver screens across the country on Nov. 17, uncovers his face.

The trailer opens with a monolog conveyed by the protagonist, a young fellow named Haruo: "In the previous summer of the twentieth century … humankind learned they were not by any means the only leader of Earth out of the blue that day."

Human beings choose to surrender Earth in the wake of losing fights against "kaiju" monsters and Godzilla. Haruo is determined to take revenge against the behemoth after it murdered his folks.

But since another planet far from Earth is appalling, a gathering of individuals comes back to their home planet- - just to locate that 20,000 years have passed on Earth while they were away. That was sufficient time for the planet to transform into an obscure world with a ecosystem overwhelmed by Godzilla.

The second half of the trailer demonstrates a nail-bitingly extreme fight arrangement before closure with a close-up of Godzilla's face.

The anime film comes after the achievement of "Shin Godzilla," the first Japan-made "Godzilla" to film in 12 years released a year ago. The live-action film earned 8.25 billion yen ($74 million) in the box office.

"Godzilla: Planet of the Monsters" was composed by the "Puella Magi Madoka Magica" anime series writer Gen Urobuchi in light of his unique story thoughts. It was delivered by leading CG studio Polygon Pictures Inc., known for "Knights of Sidonia" and "Blame!"
