RE: Art Plagiarism Case #37 - Caso de Plagio Artístico #37 - @ayasha-art
Yes, it is still plagiarism. Plagiarism is defined by the lack of attribution, not how lovely the plagiarism is or if you drew it yourself.
It will be plagiarism if you took pictures or drawings from the Internet and say that it is yours. When you yourself paint it is an artistic response. No one comes up with something fully new. Everyone inspired by paintings by other artists. I don't think its plagiarism at all!
What you think is irrelevant, it is plagiarism cause you didn't attribute or credit the sources. From now on please when you copy something include the pictures and the sources you copy in your post. That way curators and viewers will know what you created yourself and what you copied from the sources. Thank you.
Princess Belle is a character everyone knows and I need a source to give.
Thanks to you too.
I updated.
I repeat: From now on when you copy something include the pictures and the sources you copy in your post
This means: make the picture(s) you copied visible in your post and include the source where you got the picture(s).
That way the viewers and curators are gonna be able to tell what you created yourself and what you merely copied.
I can draw a portrait I can draw any scenarios with my brush. until I am not saying it's I created its not plagiarism. Every artist inspired by another artist work. Creative representation of course, not plagiarism.
If you dont say or credit anything, it is implied, especially in an artistic tag, that it is your creation completely.
