Apollo 13 a dangerous mission

Apollo 13 was probably the most frightening Apollo mission ever. It launched on April 11, 1970. The crew  of Apollo 13 were

Jim Lovell, Jack Swigert, and Fred Haise. It did an orbit around Earth and started heading for the moon.  About 200,000 miles from Earth Jack Swigert was given the command to turn the fans in the oxygen tank, seconds later they heard a huge bang in the service module, and they were forced to not land on the moon. They found out it was oxygen tank 2 that exploded. They had another problem They were losing lots of power. They were forced the turn almost everything off to save power which meant no heat it was so cold it was 38 degrees Fahrenheit! They had enough oxygen to bring them home, but they had too much carbon dioxide so they had to make a filter using tape and cardboard.  When apollo 13 let go of the service module they found out that the whole side of the spaceship had fallen off! It was time for re-entry they let go of the lunar module and went to re-entry. they made it back. Apollo 13 was one of the most frightening things ever happened.
