... Life being a continues process as a development.
So why do we react to some in favor and to others with rejection? And what does that tell us about our flexibility?

Obviously there is good and bad, negative and positive, in this world. And the way our mind works, is in comparison. Always and continuously. It's neither good nor bad, it's just how it works. This is the way our brain and psychology is defining reality.
So whatever we see, we compare to our already existing experience and make our decisions and reactions depending on it.
So the very root of our judgment is experience.
Survival of the fittest? Survival of the most adaptable! And what means to adapt? To be flexible enough to make a fit with every fix point.
Ever noticed, how physical flexibility seems to expands its limitations onto our character?
Physically we speak about two body types, that usually define one another: flexible type and stable type.
The stable type has a tendency to more muscle mass, less flexibility and as result more stability.
The other has less muscle mass, more given flexibility and as a result a lack of stability, but is way smoother and swingy in movement.
I wrote about why a routine is good and how it works for Characters.
Same goes for these aspects.
The flexible type has a tendency to chaos, spontaneity, now rooted expressions and may struggle with Systems and Routines.
The stable type inhabits a tendency to be more rational, feels comfortable in systems, likes to take calculated decisions and may find it difficult to break free of the routine.
Does the one type have it easier in life when it comes to changes than the other?
And if yes, how can we balance it, and what exactly would we try to balance?
