HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!! It's here guys, how did that happen? I hope you're planning ...

... to spend the day with loved ones and not stressing the small stuff. If you're someone who obsesses over making everything perfect, just remember, they probably won't remember how perfect the meal was. What everyone remembers is the time spent together and the joy of the season.

My favorite tradition from my childhood is watching Miracle on 34th Street while we start prepping things for the feast. Then we move on to the parade and talk about how it's never as good as it used to be when we were little. Although, I can't help but wonder if that's because I'm just getting older and the balloons don't hold the same appeal ;P

This year I did most of the prep the day before so I could sit and enjoy my morning coffee because # adultingpriorities

Happy Thanksgiving! 🙏🏾

Thank you so much!

Don't make everything look so delicious xD xD

When I was growing up (such a long time ago!) we always had turkey with stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, and a jello salad called Sunshine Salad. And pie! Plus the usual olives, pickles, cranberry sauce, etc. The entire meal is my favorite tradition, and my children grew up with the same thing, basically. However, my mother-in-law introduced me to pumpkin chiffon pie years ago, and I have scorned ordinary pumpkin pie ever since. This year we are having apple pie.

That sounds like a great tradition.

yeah spending time with family and enjoying the moments :) i hope you too had a great time

We did, thanks!
