Lightpainting Loop #11

in #appics5 years ago (edited)

This is a Loop of a light painting picture taken with a Sony A7 II during one single exposure.

Titel: "72/5 Rotation“

How it’s created:

For this picture, I've placed a tube with green and yellow colours on a black carpet on the floor. I aligned the camera. With 72 steps by 5 degree I then turned the camera to paint the circle. Between every step I had open and cover the lens so this one took a while.

After the development with Darktable I made an endless loop that gives the whole picture a lot more dynamic and depth.

Enjoy the ride! and after seeing it let me know how you feel in the comments

About Light Painting:

Light painting is a photographic technique in which exposures are made by moving a hand-held light source while taking a long exposure photograph, either to illuminate a subject or to shine a point of light directly at the camera, or by moving the camera itself during exposure. Nothing is added or removed in post processing.
