Is your mobile phone safe while charging?

We are now in 2020 and witnessing fast changes in technology advancement and upgradation to make life easier day by day. However, in my opinion, we are also exposed to several threats especially in the 21st Century Hacking Era wherein every now and then we keep hearing various incidences of hacking of phone by unique ways and means across the globe.

Now the recent one is hacking of your mobile while charging at Public places, if true, this is real threat to many people/travellers across the globe who while waiting at the airport/train stations or any other public places keep their mobile phone/s on charging at sockets provided at these locations for free.

Not able to understand how one can steal the "important" data from your mobile from the charging sockets at public places??

Its really unfathomable that while charging your phone at public places, one can hack your mobile and get access to details to siphon money from your bank account/e-wallets while you are waiting for boarding the flight/train.

I don't know whether you guys have come across such incidences at your side of the ocean/s but here in India the banks have started updating/alerting customers to give up the habit of charging mobile phones at public places to prevent hacking.

One thing is certain, we become "more" vulnerable to theft risks or rather easy prey by so called Smart Gadgets !
