Meltdown spectre bug issue apples says all mac and ios devices are affected!
Technology giant Apple has confirmed that almost all of the company's devices are affected by the new serious flaws in the processor. Serious flaws have been found in Intel, AMD and ARM processors, due to which hackers can take the device completely in their control. The processors of these three companies are present in most of the world's computers and smartphones, hence the effect of these processors is directly on your computer and smartphone.
Apple has issued a statement on these flaws. The company has said that all Mac and IOS devices ie iPhones and iPads are affected by this bug named Meltdown and Spectre. Earlier this was explained in the Google Security blog about how serious this bug could be.
Apple has said, 'This problem is in all modern processors and it affects almost all devices and operating systems. All Mac systems and IOS devices are affected, but so far no news has been received from the customers about any problems'
The overall thing is that all devices are on risk and if a hacker wants to take advantage of it, it can hack the computers and mobile.
How can you avoid it
Apple has also said that the problem is mostly due to the dangerous code given in the app. Therefore, Apple users should download apps from Trasted Source, for example, Apple Store.
Apple will soon release a patch for both mobile and computer platforms. MacOS 10.13.2 and iOS 11.2. Patch will be released for TV too. Apart from this, the company has said that the company will release updates for Safari to avoid Spectre which you will find in the next few days.
Significantly, Microsoft already released Emergency Security Patch for Windows computers. Google has also released a patches for Android smartphones to protect it.
