Apple Music chief Jimmy Iovine has announced his resignation

One of the main reasons for Apple to acquire Beats worth $ 3 billion, not because it is one of the leading manufacturers of headphones. The main reason is because Jimmy Iovine, co-founder of Beats and has become head of the Apple Music project after the acquisition is set.

There have been many reports that Jimmy Iovine contributed to the creation of iTunes and the iPod, along with Apple's team before the founding of Beats. In 2006, this leading music producer teamed up with Dr. Dre to set up the company and produce Beats headphones.

According to Bloomberg report, Iovine will definitely leave Apple. However, he will wait until August, when Apple's final payment for the acquisition of Beats is completed.

One of the main reasons Iovine decided to resign was due to a conflict of interest with the Apple Music development team. Jimmy Iovine has helped Apple Music reach over 30 million subscribers, and is also responsible for the highly popular Planet of the Apps and Carpool Karaoke video series.

Iovine introduced new ideas to expand the Apple Music service, saying: "Apple Music needs more than just a few songs and some new playlists."

It is not clear what Jimmy Iovine will do after leaving Apple at the age of 64.
