Virus 5.0 - kinetic lightpainting in my kitchen
I have a thing for kinetic lightpainting photography where the actual camera moves rather than the subject. This is a lens and tripod swap in the dark with one element of camera movement and another element of zoom pulling.
First I shot the circuit board with an inward zoom pull with a backlight and a front light using a www.lightpaintingbrushes.com colour filter in red:
I then capped the lens without ending the exposure and transferred the camera to the other tripod pointed at an Ikea Gamsebo bulb. I changed the lens in complete darkness and switched on the bulb with the lens cap still on. I removed the lens cap and exposed for the bulb for about 2 seconds before panning the camera to the right and back to the left. Lens cap on, ended the exposure, job done.
I've been calling these kinds of shots, "SOOK" as in straight outta the kitchen because they literally were created in my kitchen. I still feel compelled to say that this shot was created in one photographic exposure and is not a Photoshop creation.
About me: I usually specialise in shooting lightpainting images but occasionally dabble in urbex and artistic model photography. I'm always on the lookout for someone to collaborate with; please don't hesitate to get in touch if you'd like to create art.

Fantastic shot. I like the combination of techniques in this picture. I mixed my feathers rotation with kinetic. I will show the results next few days. But your shot is outstanding. 🤗👍👍👍
Thanks mate, next for this one is to make all this apear inside my silhouetted hand ... a recipe for OCD!!
I have picked your post for my daily voting initiative! Keep it up and Steem on!
