Yes, promoting. I think promoting on eSteem is more effective than Steem because your post randomly shows on every feed. If user scrolling/exploring their Feed or Trending or Hot, they will see sponsored/promoted posts within list.
Funny you should mention that because I seem to find more people upvoting the posts I've made in eSteem faster than in SteemIt itself.
That level of feedback so quickly is encouraging because it helps form the posts that I make in my blog. Posts that don't seem to do well mean there's something wrong with the format of that post and so I change to mimic the format of the posts that do do well.
