The 5 things you will do most during your life!
- Sleep
- Eat
- Poop
- Pee
- Sweat
Not sure if think, talk or walk fits in there for most people, and in what order, and if we're adding that we might as well add lie, and steal, help and pray, read and listen.
If I had AR goggles, and access to a enough data, I would have it rate everyone I see on the above; I would map my social networks on the same... and probably conclude that I prefer spending time with people who have at least displaced one of these defaults with positive traits... assuming it is possible. I might have to change it to a top 10 and ignore the top 5.
How much are you a product of your circumstance and social network? If rated on the above? :-D Can you trust someone who talk more than they think or read? Can you really form any useful stereotype based on the order of "what you do most"?...
Then, there's the big blind spot of most "psychology" thinking up until now: the fact that you can change over time. Maybe you were a Meyers-Briggs ENTP all your life and now you're an INTJ. Or maybe vice versa. Or maybe you're the one at work, and the other at home... So there would need to be an aspect of "how has it changed over time". What would that say of you? If you were a "good" person and now you're "bad"? Is it because of you, or because of your environment? Do certain environments cause more of certain kinds of changes?
I was "this" most of my life, but during the last month, I've been "this". What are the most relevant time frames, if we wanted to keep it to just two, my fellow sleep-eat-poop-pee-sweat-beings? Wait, aren't those called mammals? Have we really transcended our biology yet? Should we? Or should we just strive to be better mammals? Or can we change our environment in such a way so as to nudge us the right way?...
interesting point
There's no right or wrong.
