و أخيرا و الحمد لله تم فتح تحقيق دولي وملاحقة قائد الجيش البورمي وخمسة قادة عسكريين آخرين قضائيا بتهم تتضمن إرتكاب جرائم إبادة جماعية بحق أقلية الروهينغا المسلمة

مما أدى إلى فرار نحو 700 ألف من الروهينغا من ولاية راخين الشمالية إلى بنغلادش بعدما أطلقت بورما حملة أمنية عنيفة ضد مجموعات متمردة وسط تقارير تحدثت عن وقوع عمليات حرق وقتل وآغتصاب بأيدي الجنود الحكوميين وعصابات في البلد الذي يشكل البوذيون غالبية سكانه و هو الأمر الذي رأيناه من خلال مجموعة من الفيديوهات

و بطبيعة الحال نفت السلطات البورمية الإتهامات الموجهة لها بالتطهير العرقي مصرة على أن ما قامت به هو مجرد رد على الهجمات التي شنها متمردون من الروهينغا

وفي نظري يجب أيضا محاسبة زعيمة بورما أونغ سان سو تشي الحائزة على جائزة نوبل للسلام والتي تعرضت إلى انتقادات واسعة جراء فشلها في الدفاع عن الأقلية المحرومة من الجنسية البورمية و لأنها
لم تستخدم منصبها الممنوح إليها كرئيسة للحكومة ولا سلطتها لمنع أو وقف الأحداث الجارية في بلادها
