The Medicine(Earth Love)
"I Believe in Bending backwards and extending in my tracks..."
It's from Rising Appalachia, song called Medicine, a song-anthem honoring the traditions of folk medicine; plant-based medicine as a tool for empowerment and healing.
This "bending backwards" immediately sounds familiar/resonates with most practitioners of Yoga since in the “Chakrasana” pose (Sanskirt, “Chakra” which means wheel, meaning of Asana is “Posture” ) in which The Yogi is in for a fun bending backwards expanding perception angle while stretching the spine... Ahhh... spine aligned, purpose aligned.
Chakrasana, Chakra... Just means wheel? Well... What about those wheel Energy centers. Around our body? 7 colors, 7 days, 7 ArchAngels
Doesn't stop there, In a Lala Land far far away, in Quechua, the language of Uncle Manco Capac and The Incas, the same word:
CHAKRA means "small farm"... Just in case if you didn't raise eyebrows... Quechua, Incas, Macchu Picchu, South of The America Continent, same word as in Sanskrit,
And for the second part -SANA,
asana in Sanskrit is posture or seat...
(Well SANA... in spanish is "to Heal")
