Transylvania is the western province of Romania and it was made famous by the book Dracula which associates Vlad the Impaler (15 century ruler of Wallachia) with a vampire because of his cruelty. The home of this vampire it was Bran Castel (i'll make a post about it) but the real Vlad only visited once.
