E65. A coastal architecture Academy

Hello fellow Steemians and art lovers!

I want to share with you an interesting project I did while doing my bachelor degree! We tried to reactivate my city's sea front because as you can imagine the sea is an important element of the greek lifestyle, despite the fact that we are doing our best to completely destoy and polute it.

Neighboring the Patras extened sea front the project's aim was to design an Architecture School that would try to connect with its surroundings. We focused on the dense existence of box-like warehouses and the form of the urban enviroment .Consisted by three simple geometries, the building is divided into different parts that are connected by a linear glass panel. Different functions are being represented by the use of glass, while the pilotis marks a strong resemblance to the nearby modernistic houses.
