The Esports Industry

Esports otherwise known as electronic sports or e-sports is a form of competitive video gaming with multiple players battling against each other usually in teams, often in matches that are streamed live to throngs of young fans.

Statistics has revealed that the Esports audience will grow to 454 million viewers in 2019 and that revenues will increase to over US$1 billion.

Social media and online streaming platforms like youtube, twitch etc has contributed to the growth of Esports in recent times.

The market is relatively new, with a few people maximizing it and more people not doing it well.

The Esports Industry has massive wealth opportunities for players and supporters but sadly only players and tournaments organizers have been able to tap into the resources this emerging industry.

Arena Match

Arena Match is an decentralized esports gaming app that will allow individuals to bet and compete in Skill Challenges (player vs. house), daily high score leaderboards, head to head (1v1 duels), team vs team and Battle Royale FFA (free for all) matches for popular online games, such as PUBG (PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds), Fornite, Apex, and CS:GO (Counter­Strike: Global Offensive).

Arena Match targets 3 basic audience of the Esports Industry which includes:

  1. People who engage themselves in competitive gaming
  2. People who engage in monetary-stakes play
  3. People that are eligible to play in skill-based beting games (18+ years old, 41 US states and roughly 80% of all countries around the world).

The Arena Match solution

The Esports Industry is currently battling with the challenge of limited opportunities (where by only a few people are beneficiaries as compared to number that are enthusiastic about the industry) and matchmaking Liquidity where (competitors experience difficulty in finding a fellow challenge and or competitor with could lead to frustration)

Arena match is set to revolutionize the Esports Industry by:

  • Building a platform that has multi-player mode which satisfies a variety of users Interest
  • Ensuring new users can find a mode they can be compatible or comfortable with
  • Enabling existing users have modes they can experiment with or graduate to
  • Providing head to head instant match-making games
  • Providing Battle Royale modes
  • Providing mode that ensures players have things to do when there is a limited player base
  • Offering a selection of "solo" experience that enables users get familiar with the platform.

Arena match Game Modes

  1. SKILL Challenge : here, players make a bet against Arena Match based on their ability to succeed against a number of specific predefined challenges (like getting first place in their next game of solo Fortnite). The platform keeps those entry fees if the player fails, and pays them out (based on predefined odds) if they succeed.

  2. HIGH SCORE TOURNAMENT: Players can compete in regularly scheduled leader board tournaments for specific games with the goal of achieving a high score payout within that period.

  3. HEAD-TO-HEAD : here, Individuals or teams pay a predetermined entry fee to queue up and face off against challengers to compete for that match’s prize pool. The platform will keep a moderate 10% of the collected fees for hosting the match.

  4. BATTLE ROYALE: Players will be able to pay an entry fee to enter pre-scheduled Battle Royale matches, where they will compete for that match’s top positions. The players who score the best ranks will be paid out from that match’s prize pool, minus a 10% hosting fee kept by Arena Match.

  1. OVERWOLF: Arena Match eSports APP will be built in the Overwolf ecosystem. Overwolf has an active user-base of over 15 million players focused on esports gaming, and they’ve offered to highlight our game as one of their major offerings. Overwolf’s partners include Intel, Wargaming.net, HiRez, Crytek, Twitch, Zam Network, TeamSpeak, Cloud9 and more.

  2. PLAY WIRE : partnership with Overwolf we has given Arena Match access to the Playwire ad-network. Short advertisements will play before and after matchmaking without disrupting gameplay. This will also generate more revenue for the project.
