Fantastic and inspirational story! SMH...It takes a special breed of woman to endure military life. I have great regard for those who do. There is a quiet, inner-toughness that most exude.

OMGoodness...I always thought caterpillars would give a venomous bite. Needless to say...never mind..the thought only makes me rme and smh...Let's just say, I wouldn't have survived boot camp.

Two years and 3 months, and back to civilian life in Cali. I felt like you left me hanging....;+)...Did you replace the break-up with a hubby and kids in the years since?
